The FCC has granted, with conditions, an application filed by Amazon’s Kuiper Systems LLC, requesting authorization to deploy a non-geostationary satellite broadband system. Following the FCC authorization, Amazon announced it will invest more than $10 billion in Project Kuiper.

USDA has made its final broadband funding award under the first round of the ReConnect Pilot Program. USDA is now evaluating 172 second funding round applications.
