LTD Broadband, LLC has filed a Petition for Judicial Review with the District Court for Polk County, Iowa seeking review of the Iowa Utilities Board’s November 5, 2021, denial of LTD’s application to expand its existing Eligible Telecommunications Carrier designation.
The Reforming Broadband Connectivity Act of 2021, S.3236, has been introduced in the Senate. If passed, the bill would direct the Federal Communications Commission to reform the Universal Service Fund by, among other things, expanding the contribution base.
