FCC Announces Winners Of Rural Digital Opportunity Fund Phase I Auction
The FCC has announced the results of the Rural Digital Opportunity Fund Phase I auction. There were 180 winning bidders, which were awarded 10-year support totaling $9.23 billion to bring broadband service to 5,220,833 locations in 49 states and one territory.
ACAM Broadband Coalition Petitions FCC For Six More Years Of A-CAM Funding
The ACAM Broadband Coalition has filed a petition for rulemaking which proposes extending A-CAM funding for an additional six years and requiring support recipients to deploy faster broadband speeds.
