The FCC’s Digital Opportunity Data Collection requires fixed providers to report where they offer services, as well as the speed and latency of those services.
FCC RDOF: SpaceX Rural Digital Opportunity Fund Long-Form Application Due January 29, 2021
SpaceX was a big winner in the FCC’s RDOF auction, acquiring $885.5 million in 10-year support in 35 states. SpaceX must now submit an acceptable FCC Form 683 long-form application.

Satellite broadband provider SpaceX was a winning bidder in the FCC’s RDOF Phase I auction in 35 states. SpaceX won a total of $885.5 million in support to be provided over 10 years.

FCC Authorizes Amazon’s Kuiper To Deploy Satellite Broadband Network; Amazon Announces More Than $10 Billion Investment In Project Kuiper
The FCC has granted, with conditions, an application filed by Amazon’s Kuiper Systems LLC, requesting authorization to deploy a non-geostationary satellite broadband system. Following the FCC authorization, Amazon announced it will invest more than $10 billion in Project Kuiper.
